OK – this is probably too simple to call a “cocktail” – but it is a refreshing summer drink. Pour some Lillet Blanc in an “up” glass, add one ice cube & a lemon twist. Yum!
There are different ways to make a lemon twist – I take a peeler & peel a strip, trying not to get any of the pith (white part). Then I twist it & “crimp” it over the glass – the idea being that you release the lemon oils from the peel into the drink.
